I graduated from OCHANOMIZU University and was a teacher at a metropolitan high school. And I studied under Mr.Yoai Ohta ( Former Chief of JAPAN BOTANICAL ART ASSOCIATION). Now I am a tutor of Botanical Art at ASAHI CULTURE, YOMIURI CULTURE, KEISEN University Open College etc. I went to Vietnam 12 times from 1995~2016 to researching yellow camellias and polysporas (gordonia) and painted them including some new species in Vietnam. I have been awarded 4 silver gilt medals by the RHS as well as Best Botanical Artist by the BBC in 2003 and exhibited in the Hunt Institute and with the SSC.
