Celia Hegedüs was born and lives in London. Coming from a fine art background, she was drawn to botanical art by her admiration of the flower painters of the past and her love for specific flowers, in particular Iris, Auricula and Tulips. She has been awarded six Gold Medals by The Royal Horticultural Society and exhibited widely, including four solo exhibitions. Her work is held in many private and public collections around the world.
