Studied at Lancaster College of Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts, taught also by her father, John Nash of Flatford Mill, Mary Grierson and Margaret Stones. Official Artist in Residence RGB Kew 1972-1980, thereafter freelance - mainly with Kew. Work in major collections. Joint RHS Gold Medal for Lavandula Monograph. Currently principal illustrator for two forthcoming Kew Monographs : Juno Iris and Fritillaria. Working on illustrating plants and creatures in Downe Bank - Darwin’s inspiration for the final paragraph ‘The Entangled Bank’ in Origin of Species, 1859.
