Olivia Chalmers studied at Harrow School of Art in the 50’s, where she did a foundation course and then a further three years in fine art. She first discovered botanical art in 1993 when she saw an advertisement for classes at The Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew under the renowned artist Annie Farrer. Olivia continued to have further classes with Annie and has also taken lessons with Coral Guest, Jenny Brazier and at the Chelsea Physic Garden with Pandora Sellers. In 2000, she went to live in Grenada W.I., where she taught art to the children in the Anglican School in Sauteurs and gave lessons in her home. Olivia is an RHS medalist and has sold to art galleries and societies all over the world.
