Carol Reddick was born in the UK and worked as a costume designer for London theatres and TV shows. Having lived in South Africa for the last 35 years she began botanical painting in 2001 as a student of Vicki Thomas. She first exhibited in the 2002 Kirstenbosch Biennale, winning silver medals at subsequent Biennales and the Bothalia Exhibition in Lucca, Italy. Her works have been included in a number of Botanical Society of South Africa calendars and other publications.
